Demographics:
q The majority of the
respondents (42%) are between 20
to 44 years old. Those who were 45
to 54 accounted for another
20%. Respondents aged 55 to 64 had the lowest proportion (12%), while those who were 65 years or older accounted for 18%.
q Almost half (46%) of the households
surveyed were ‘A Couple with
Children’. Single persons –the second largest category- accounted
for 14%, and couples without children were
12% of the survey’s population. A significant 10% of the households were
extended families, and another 9% were families sharing living quarters.
Single parents were only 5% of the survey’s population.
